He started from humble beginnings and mastered calling elk with a turkey diaphragm and piece of vacuum hose. With deep passion and lots of hard work, Carlton Calls became a household name in elk hunting and Wayne with his “signature cowboy hat” became the leading pioneer, paving the way manufacturing and instructing fellow hunters how to talk to elk with his calls.
